Capes Medical is a family company with a big reputation for delivering an unrivalled mix of top brand medical supplies and on-going services that are tailored to your individual requirements. Our family-owned and operated company began distributing medical supplies from the Capes family garage in 2000. Continued business growth has seen staff numbers increase to 13 and our business relocate to a 1000m² warehouse in Mount Maunganui.
Our Customers
We supply to the primary care and hospital markets throughout New Zealand. The majority of our current customers are based in the Bay of Plenty and Waikato regions. We have experienced Account Managers carrying out specific call cycles for our larger clients.
Our Products
Our medical supplies company constantly holds around 3000 high turnover medical products in stock – from woundcare to high quality instruments and equipment. We source all of our products at low prices from up to 100 wholesalers throughout NZ, enabling us to pass on great savings to our customers. We are confident that we can supply almost any product you require.
Our Service
Part of the strength behind our business is our willingness to go beyond ‘just selling a product’. We’ve realised that in order to create the complete medical supplies solution, we need to provide a level of service that ensures maximum efficiency for our customer. Our close-knit team is passionate about building long-term relationships with our customers. We help set up medical practices and align product systems with ours to ensure an easy and accurate ordering process. We also provide personalised order forms, on-going product training and product information sourcing.
Our Future
Towards the end of 2009 we’ll be launching an online ordering system, plus we’ll look at extending our services to other regions of NZ. We also have plans to increase the size of the warehouse so that we can carry larger stock volumes of our commonly requested products. We’re confident that all of these developments will help us achieve our goal of becoming a significant leader in the medical supplies industry.
