Overview

Aquashield Cast Protector

Forget using cumbersome plastic bags to protect your cast from water. Use the onepiece stretchable Aquashield for a watertight seal that enables swimming, bathing, and showering.

Pre-Sized and Ready to Use

The AquaShield is available in a variety of sizes, so no cutting or trimming is required. And theres a size to fit just about everyone from infants to adults.

REGULAR fits most adults.

SMALL fits adults and children under 54kg.

PAEDIATRIC typically fits infants and toddlers up to three years of age.

Single-Piece Construction

Made in one piece, the AquaShield has no straps, pump, ring, or diaphragm. The absence of folded excess material ensures a continuous watertight seal.

High-Performance Material

The AquaShield is made of polyurethane a virtually indestructible material thats 40 to 50 times stronger than materials used by our competitors. It will not tear when pulled over a fiberglass cast, and stretches easily to form a comfortable, non-constrictive seal.

Durable

Because of the strength of polyurethane construction, the AquaShield can be used again and again, and will even outlast a patients convalescence.

Safety

The risk of allergic reactions to latex is one were not prepared to take. Rather than expose patients to the possibility of anaphylactic shock, we rely on the safety of latex-free polyurethane.

Non-Slip Sole

An added safety feature is our SkidSafe sole which provides unparalleled traction on wet or slippery surfaces.

Easy to Use

The AquaShield slips over a cast or bandage without any drag or snag. In keeping with our commitment to patients ease and comfort, our arm models have a mitten shape that offers better tactile feel and grip.

How To Make Your Aquashield Watertight

If showering, slide the AquaShield over the cast by pulling on the corners. Make sure the seal is an inch or so above the cast and completely flat and smooth. This will keep your cast dry for a shower.
