Hyalo Control Cream is easy to apply for local use. Containing hyaluronic acid sodium salt and metallic silver, specifically designed to prevent wound contamination.

HYALO4 Control Cream is a medical device for local use contain hyaluronic acid sodium salt and silver
sulfadiazine to treat acute and chronic wounds that are infected or at risk of infection. The hyaluronic acid
promotes the rapid diffusion of the water soluble molecules and the cell migration to aid the healing
process. Silver sulfadiazine is a wide spectrum antimicrobial that prevents and reduces excessive
bacterial contamination. HYALO4 Control Cream is a rational association in treatment, combining
the antibacterial effect and controlling the best microenvironment to speed up healing.
Indications
HYALO4 Control Cream is indicated for the local treatment of infected acute and chronic wounds.

Mechanism of action
Hyaluronic acid aids the migration of the fibroblasts and endothelial cells. Hyaluronic acid moderates
the inflammatory phase, by acting as scavenger of the free radicals and activating a negative
feedback mediated by interaction with specific receptors. During the remodelling phase, it reduces
fibrosis by controlling the collagen secretion. Silver sulfadiazine bonds to the bacterial walls or the
DNA of gram positive and gram negative germs. On contact with organic tissue, the medication reacts
with the NaCl and the proteins, releasing the sulfadiazine, which is absorbed by the wound and
clears the infection.
