Biosyn Suture
BIOSYN synthetic absorbable sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation including use in ophthalmic surgery, but not for use in cardiovascular or neurological surgery. This suture, being absorbable, should not be used where extended approximation of tissue is required.

gives the suture:

BIOSYNTM synthetic absorbable sutures are prepared from a synthetic
polyester, GLYCOMERTM 631, composed of glycolide (60%), dioxanone
(14%) and trimethylene carbonate (26%).
