Surgical Specialties Polypropylene / Undyed Non-Absorbable Monofilament Suture has superior tensile strength compared to other monofilaments. In addition, a unique extruding technique ensures a uniformly round cross section and a strand that passes easily through tissue and is easy to handle.
Polypropylene is not absorbed, nor is any significant change in tensile strength retention known to occur in vivo.
