Surgical Specialties Polypropylene / Undyed Non-Absorbable Monofilament Suture has superior tensile strength compared to other monofilaments. In addition, a unique extruding technique ensures a uniformly round cross section and a strand that passes easily through tissue and is easy to handle.
Polypropylene is not absorbed, nor is any significant change in tensile strength retention known to occur in vivo.

Each needle is forged from a proprietary stainless steel alloy for maximum strength, ductility and hardness and manufactured with German-designed robotics to ensure precise quality, honed edges and repeatability.
