Specially designed with innovative fiber technology, DURAFIBER features a unique non-woven fiber blend that is integral to its high performance.

This unique blend provides an exclusive combination of benefits that set DURAFIBER dressings apart from conventional gelling fiber dressings.

DURAFIBER Ag dressings are effective against infection

  • Sustained release of silver for up to 7 days (in vitro)
  • Starts to kill pathogens within 30 minutes of contact (shown in vitro vs. Staphylocuccus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, MRSA and VRE)
  • Provides broad spectrum antimicrobial activity at 4 hours against pathogens (shown in vitro vs.
  • DURAFIBER AgPseudomonas aeruginosa, VRE, Bacteroides fragilis, Candida albicans and Rhizopus arrhizus)
  • Sustains antimicrobial activity for up to 7 days against a broad spectrum of aerobic, anaerobic bacteria including antibiotic resistant strains (shown in vitro vs. MRSA, VRE, yeasts, filamentous fungi wound pathogens)
