Molnlycke Mepilex AG Foam Dressing

Mepilex Ag combines the unique features of Safetac technology with the bacteria reducing power of silver.

Mepilex Ag goes to work quickly, inactivating wound pathogens within 30 minutes and for up to 7 days. At dressing removal, Mepilex Ag does not stick to the wound or strip surrounding skin, minimising patient pain and wound trauma.

  • Mepilex AG is a soft and highly conformable foam dressing that absorbs exudate and maintains a moist wound environment.
  • Safetac technology prevents Mepilex AG from sticking to the wound bed yet adheres gently to the surrounding skin allowing easy application of secondary
    fixation.
  • Safetac layer ensures that the dressing can be changed without damaging the wound or surrounding skin or subjecting the patient to additional pain.
  • Mepilex AG absorbs exudate effectively and ensures a low risk of maceration.
