In response to the New Zealand Government’s announcement, Capes Medical effective from this morning has implemented a business continuity plan for the next 4 weeks. This of course means a few changes to the way we do business.
We will continue to operate as an essential service. Our retail shop is now closed but you are still able to order online.
To make sure that our Team is safe and we have the best chance of supplying the products you need, we now will be working in shifts to continue to deliver Medical supplies around New Zealand. This may mean that there could be a delay in getting your orders out.
As you can appreciate we like other essential services have been inundated with orders and phone calls. Our Team is working tirelessly to do the best they can in these difficult circumstances. 
We appreciate your understanding and patience.
Where possible we would ask that you place your order online rather than call.

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) we are experiencing a large increase in demand for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Surface cleaning and Sanitising products. These shortages are not only affecting Capes but all suppliers and resellers.


Products affected include;

  • Masks/Disposable Respirators
  • Hand Sanitisers
  • Gowns
  • Goggles
  • Surface wipes
  • Skin Wipes


These shortages have unfortunately led us to place some restrictions in place on supply – due to the shortage globally. Some products now on our website are now showing as a “Restricted” product. We regret to advise that we will be unable to supply these restricted products if in stock to cash/non-account customers until further notice.


Currently, our focus is to ensure that our Community Health, Emergency Services and Clinical customers are prioritised. So our front line services are best equipped to deal with COVID-19.  We understand that some of our customers have a history of purchasing products, and we will be working closely with you on this occurrence.


Our customer service team is receiving an unprecedently large amount of calls and emails, so we do apologise if this has caused a delay in us getting back to you in regards to products and orders. Unfortunately due to the nature of this – there may be slight delivery delays from the logistics and supply process that has changed over the past weeks to deal with this.
