How to apply for your discount
Getting your personal discount code is quick and easy. Just follow these three steps:
- Step 1: Get in touch with our team by phone or email
- Step 2: Share your SuperGold Card details. Send us a photo or image of your SuperGold Card, or provide your card number. You can do this by email or simply read it out over the phone. Your details are used only to verify your eligibility.
- Step 3: Receive your discount code
We'll issue you with a discount code to use at checkout on our website. Apply it to your order and enjoy 5% off your subtotal — every time you shop with us.

SuperGold Card discount - Terms and conditions
1. Overview
Capes Medical Supplies ("Capes") offers a 5% discount on eligible purchases to verified holders of a New Zealand SuperGold Card (the "Gold Card Discount"). This document sets out the terms and conditions governing the application of that discount.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Gold Card Discount is available exclusively to current, valid holders of a New Zealand SuperGold Card.
2.2. Only one Gold Card Discount may be applied per order.
2.3. The discount is non-transferable and may not be shared with, or applied on behalf of, any person who does not hold a valid SuperGold Card.
2.4. By applying a Gold Card discount code at checkout, the customer confirms that they are a current and valid SuperGold Card holder.
3. Discount value and application
3.1. The Gold Card Discount provides a 5% reduction applied to the order subtotal of the entire Capes Medical range.
3.2. The 5% discount is calculated on the pre-GST, pre-freight subtotal only. GST and freight charges are excluded from the discount calculation and will be charged in full.
3.3. The discount applies to in-stock items in the Capes Medical range at the time of order. Capes reserves the right to exclude certain items, promotions, or clearance lines, from this offer at its sole discretion.
3.4. The Gold Card Discount cannot be combined with any other promotional offer, coupon code, or discount unless expressly authorised in writing by Capes.
4. Proof of Gold Card and verification
4.1. Capes reserves the right to request proof of a valid SuperGold Card at any time, including before an order is fulfilled or dispatched.
4.2. Acceptable proof of Gold Card status includes: a valid physical SuperGold Card; a digital SuperGold Card displayed on an approved device; or such other documentation as Capes reasonably requires.
4.3. If a discount code is used by a person who is not a verified SuperGold Card holder, or if satisfactory proof of Gold Card status cannot be provided upon request, Capes reserves the right to take one or more of the following actions:
(a) withhold dispatch of goods until full undiscounted payment has been received;
(b) issue an invoice for the outstanding balance (being the difference between the discounted amount paid and the full retail price), which becomes immediately due and payable; or
(c) cancel the order and issue a full refund at Capes' discretion.
4.4. Capes reserves the right to seek recovery of any amounts improperly discounted, including any reasonable costs incurred in pursuing such recovery, where the Gold Card Discount has been fraudulently or incorrectly applied.
5. Changes to these Terms
5.1. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
5.2. The current version of these terms will be published on the Capes Medical Supplies website. It is the customer's responsibility to review the current terms prior to placing an order.
5.3. Continued use of the Gold Card Discount code following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
