Overview

Actolind Solution Plus 350ml Bottle

Actolind Solution Plus is a powerful wound care irrigation solution that accelerates the healing of wounds and burns.

It's designed to cleanse, irrigate, moisturise, and protect.

It features an optimised wetting effect for acute, chronic and infected wounds as well as 1st and 2nd degree burns.

Active ingredients include Polyhexanide plus Poloxamer which accelerates the healing of wounds and burns.

Key features:
  • A synergistic blend of broad-spectrum antimicrobial Polyhexanide (0.1% PHMB) and Poloxamer to manage biofilms, cleanse away devitalised and necrotic tissue while promoting an optimum environment for wound healing

  • The screw cap bottle features an internal precision-pour opening designed for mess-free decanting into a dressing tray, sterile filed or targeted wound irrigation.

  • Highly stable formulation remains sterile and effective for up to 8 weeks after opening, reducing waste and cost-per-use.

  • Non-cytotoxic and non-irritating surfactant quickly lowers surface tension helping to lift slough, contaminated wound coverings and adhered dressings for atraumatic dressing changes.

  • Compatible with all dressings, bandages, coverings and adjunctive therapies

  • Dermatologically tested - neither irritating nor painful

Instructions for use

Thanks to its enhanced wetting and surface tension decreasing properties, Actolind® Solution Plus removes contaminants, scabs, necrotic tissues and biofilm layers from wounds effectively by decreasing the surface tension more effectively compared to similar products.

Actolind® Solution Plus should be used for wound surface cleansing and irrigation before any treatment.

Bandages, dressings, pads, etc. such as Aclind® Sterile Gauze Compress, soaked in Actolind® Solution Plus can be used to clean wounds.

For optimal wound cleansing, it is recommended to wet the infected wound consisting of deep and intensively necrotic tissues, for at least 10-15 min. with a fully wetted compress.

Minimises the growth of microorganisms at the interface between the wound and the dressing.

Actolind® Solution Plus facilitates removal of biofilms.

Actolind® Solution Plus can be heated to body temperature prior to use

Compatible with all modern wound dressings
